Ready to travel

What you get

In the beginning of my career I started with pretty technical 'C' programming ( on VME systems  combined with 68000-assembly !! ) moving further to C++.
For many years I was the C-API specialist of a big Scada supplier , to created extentions for the system , as well as PLC-drivers , for which I also created  the world wide
training manual. Being in SCADA , at the end of the nineties I got heavily involved in Manufacturing Execution Systems aka MES  , S95/S88 , SQL  Server data bases and DotNet from the very beginning.I created a Siemens S7 and an Rockwell Ethernet/IP-CIP driver in C#. Interested ?

During this decade ( 200x ) I was very involved in MES - tracking and tracing systems, MES and C sharp projects.
A number of Csharp as pureC# programmer for a couple months ..

Analysing of projects / products , was in many areas of my jobs a key concern ... mainly for setting up proof of concepts in manufacturing applications. From small to really big

My last assignment was software trainer for MES and SCADA products for one of the three biggest world wide suppliers of industrial automation soft- and hardware.
  1. Csharp until version 4.0 , I just peeked into 4.0 ,  and the DLR will CHANGE PROGRAMMING !! My special attention goes to
    1. Linq
    2. Entity framework
    3. Lambda and Expressions ( cool and you start thinking a little different ) and of course the DLR
  2. Design and patterns
    1. I am a firm believer that when you build an application it should be as OPEN and EXTENDIBLE as possible
      1. Program to INTERFACES !!
      2. Injection tools- frameworks can be of extreme help, even for small applications
      3. Framework and tools
      4. Keep an eye to the future ... try to pre built in, design the future in your product ( Liek now with Csharp 4.0 DLR ... late binding )
  3. SQLServer 2005/2008 , I can use it and do general things , I am not a specialist but can handle it. Let's say I am not an SQL guru.
I speak FLUENT 4 languages dutch, French, English and german and lived and worked abroad.
I have been doing very technical stuff but also setup abroad a green field branch  for a company where the sales went from allmost zero to skyhigh !
